Our 2017 started with a lively meeting. The morning session split into two, with new members gathering to meet the Committee and learn more about us (and vice versa) over a civilised coffee and biscuits, whilst in the other corner of the hall existing members sat stitching and exchanging news.
The afternoon session was led by Kay Mawer who talked us through her journey, explaining how she had bought the dormant Cloth kits company and re-launched and updated it into the thriving shop, education centre and Drapers Yard arts and crafts emporium which so many of us in Chichester treasure today.
It was a fascinating and lively talk which kept us all entertained and informed – many thanks, Kay.
The results of the November workshop with Liz Ashurst were also on display – thanks to those of you who remembered to bring in their work!!
