Thank you to everyone who helped with the All sewn up sale on Saturday: volunteers on the day, enthusiastic members who made such wonderful and inventive gifts to sell, Kay at Clothkits for setting the challenge and being so supportive and generous, the team at St Wilfrid’s for all their support, and everyone else who contributed in so many ways.
We had a great day, we met lots of lovely people who were delighted by the talent of our members and enthusiastically bought items (some came back more than once!!).
We will be presenting Chloe Neilson-Hopkins, the Capital Campaign Co ordinator for the Dream Building project at the Hospice with a cheque at our May meeting. The figures have been totted up and the current total is £1,116.
It’s fantastic that we have used the talent within the branch to raise such a significant amount of money for the St Wilfrid’s Dream Building project. An especially big thank you to Sue Clarke (Chichester Embroiderers’ Guild) and Kay Mawer (Cloth kits) for making this happen.
